Coastal Nature Camp
June 30 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

Campers will become wetland biologist and will learn about our special coastal environment and wildlife through a four-day camp full of fun outdoor activities. We’ll start by learning about wetland ecology and the importance of healthy environments for wildlife, and we’ll follow by accessing the health of our wetlands through fun field activities such as water quality testing, bird surveys, dragonfly dip-netting, mammal plaster cast, fish prints, and more! By the time camp is done you child will have a good understanding about the importance of wetlands, how they function and how wildlife utilizes it and plays a rule in the eco system!
Each camp session is limited to 10 campers between ages 8-12. Most of the time will be spent out doors, with some indoor instruction before and after activities.
Lunch WILL NOT BE PROVIDED. Campers will need to bring their own lunch and reusable water bottle. Mid- morning snacks and water will be provided. We will have a pizza lunch on the last day of camp.
